With the need for flexible working spaces forever growing, creating an environment that fosters creativity, productivity, and employee satisfaction is not only the key to success but the key to happy employees too.
According to a recent study, it was found that improved workplace design led to a 12% increase in overall productivity for employees. And, at Myo, we’re proud to provide workspaces that are thoughtfully designed to do just that. As well as this, we offer private offices and meeting rooms with access to comfortable shared spaces and enriching events – fostering a luxury office feel from floor to ceiling.
In today’s blog, we’ll be taking a look at exactly how luxury office interiors can help to promote employee satisfaction.
Stylish and social decor
Let’s start with the one thing each of our rentable office locations has in common: stylish and social decor. At Myo, office decor goes far beyond mere aesthetics. For a start, the way an office looks and feels can significantly impact employee satisfaction and overall well-being. Despite sociability being a design feature often overlooked when it comes to professional interior design, a social atmosphere can hugely boost employee well-being by encouraging employees to spend time together in a communal space, collaborating and forming new relationships offline.
What’s more, a more visually appealing workspace can stimulate creativity and boost productivity, which, in turn, boosts employee satisfaction. Often, luxury office decor will incorporate elements that inspire and motivate, such as unique artwork, thoughtfully considered colour schemes, and plenty of greenery. These features can be found in abundance throughout Myo’s different office spaces.
Another core design feature that’s geared towards boosting employee satisfaction is natural light. With 70% of our workstations offering 5m of glazing, we understand the mood-lifting qualities associated with natural light and therefore have created a series of spacious, bright, and airy workspaces. According to the World Green Building Council, natural light has positive impacts on employees’ engagement too, helping them feel more positive towards their work.

Biophilic design
An innovative approach to office design we have championed is biophilic design. This seeks to connect humans’ inherent need to affiliate with nature into the modern built environment. There is a strong connection between nature-inspired features and improving employee productivity — and therefore employee satisfaction in the workplace.
By incorporating natural elements into the workspaces, employees experience reduced stress levels and increased levels of focus —all of which lead to increasing job satisfaction and a greater sense of well-being.
With there being expensive research to show that adding natural elements to a workspace significantly boosts employee satisfaction, we integrated plants and greenery into our workspace design to encourage both well-being and ecology in our offices. Not only does this add a luxurious feel to our spaces, but adds a sense of tranquillity and calm too.
Luxury coffee-making stations
Speaking of luxury, each of our office locations comes complete with fridges, microwaves, and dishwashers, as well as those all-important tea and coffee-making facilities. These little luxuries allow all employees to feel at home with their own kitchen and ability to fuel up throughout the day – and take a well-needed restorative break from work where necessary. What’s more, we ensure our kitchens go above and beyond the basics, with thoughtfully designed cabinets, storage solutions, and premium furnishings.
When employees are happy and comfortable within the workplace they’re more productive, leading to higher levels of satisfaction for them and their employer. Since office kitchens provide a place where employees can take a break from their screen, their workload, and the pressures of their role, we’ve invested heavily in making these areas as calm, functional, and tranquil as possible.

Rotating art installations
Installing compelling and relevant art in the workplace can enhance visual interest, stimulate creativity, and foster a positive environment for employees. And you know the outcome of those benefits? You guessed it, higher levels of employee satisfaction and productivity.
At Myo, art is fundamental to our spaces. Why? Because we believe it can do much more than look good on a wall: art can actually help individuals work better! Studies by Dr Craig Knight from The University of Exeter’s School of Psychology reveal that, “If you enrich a space people feel much happier and work better; a very good way of doing this is by using art.” That’s why, our offices host curated exhibitions focused on social and environmental causes.
