Discover Myo’s New Bankside Office Space

The terrace area and outdoor profile of Myo Bankside.

Elegance, functionality, sustainability. All words that spring to mind when we think about our new Bankside offices. Designed with flexibility and vibrancy in mind, our Bankside space will not only offer more meeting rooms and event space than any local competitor but aims to facilitate a new, exciting style of working altogether.

If you’re keen to find out more about the space available for rent here, its design, inspiration, and surroundings, read on.

Introducing Myo Bankside

Our bankside offices comprise 8 separate floors of the Phosphor building at The Forge — or 48,857 square feet if we’re being technical. Breaking it down a little, our rentable office spaces at Bankside offer:

  • Four single-occupier floors (one even has a terrace of its own)
  • Four muti-occupier floors with 20 private offices
  • A top-floor penthouse office with a lounge, bar, and outdoor terrace
  • A flexible meeting suite on the ground floor. This can be used as a boardroom, smaller meeting rooms or an open-plan training and events space.

Working with building services engineers, Hive Group, and Minifie Architects, we wanted to create multiple different zones of functional, flexible space across the different floors, all tied together by luxury, natural light and a sleek, modern feel.

Office facilities: the little luxuries

Aiming to offer our clients the ultimate luxury workplace experience, we go far beyond just providing four walls and basic facilities. Just like our Liverpool Street and Victoria locations, professionally managed by an on-site concierge team, we offer tea and coffee-making facilities within our offices as well as a café, bike storage, and showers to ensure that coming to work in a space rented from Myo is an experience of maximum comfort and convenience.

Office design & interiors

As we’ve done with all our offices, we collaborated with high-profile architects and designers to produce the highest quality spaces possible for productivity and comfort. Considering everything from colour schemes and acoustics, our Bankside offices have been fine-tuned to cultivate perfect working conditions.

Engaging with the most up-to-date research around office design and employee wellbeing, we worked to prioritise natural light, ergonomic design, and air quality  into all of the unique zones of space we created.

Looking to add personality and character to the areas of shared space across the Bankside office, we also considered the role of artwork in office design, an often understated factor in improving employee engagement and mood.

Myo Bankside & sustainability

As Landsec’s first net-zero development, The Forge offices are pioneers in rentable office sustainability. Making great use of rainwater harvesting and greenscaping technology on the roof, our offices are paving the way towards a greener, cleaner future in inner city London.

Our Bankside offices aim to forge a peaceful connection between the freedom of the outdoors and focused, clean interiors. That’s why you can expect to see a variety of greenery in the office (trust us on the benefits of biophilic design, here) as well as outdoor terraces and a peaceful public courtyard to use.

The local area: Bankside & beyond

We strongly believe that the workplace experience is determined as much by its surroundings as it is by its interiors. That’s why, when we choose our office locations, we seek out some of the most favourable spaces.

Bankside is a notoriously culturally rich area with plenty of eateries and things to do scattered within a few minutes walk of our office. Let’s take a look at some of them here.

Outdoor spaces

All within a close proximity to our Bankside offices are a number of outdoor spaces for you to enjoy. From Mint Street Park and the Thames Path to Keppel Row Garden and Little Dorrit Park, there are plenty of places for you to stretch your legs or exist in nature as a well-earned break from a day in the office.

Cultural sites of interest

If you’re looking for fun things to do or sites of interest, the Bankside area has them in abundance. Check out an exhibition at The Tate Modern, travel back in time with a performance at The Globe, or enjoy an evening show at The National Theatre.

Markets & eateries

For something a little different on your lunch break, why not head over to Vinegar Yard, Flat Iron Square, or the famous Borough Market to get yourself some street food? Or, if it’s more of a sit down meal you’re after, enjoy some hearty pub grub at The Market Porter, one of London’s oldest pubs, or sample some Italian cuisine at Padella, a popular pasta restaurant.

And, because we know how office workers tend to run on coffee, of course we’ve made sure that there are ample cafes within walking distance — like the Tate Modern café, the Monmouth Coffee Company, and The Gentlemen Barista
